Turn Intention Into Action
Volunteering at St. Andrews School has given me a sense of purpose in a way that I didn’t fully expect. Each day that I go, I know that even the smallest thing I do can make a difference in a child’s life. Whether it’s helping them with something, spending time with them, or simply being someone they look forward to seeing, those moments mean a lot to me. Seeing how happy they get when I arrive genuinely makes me happy too, and it reminds me why showing up and being present matters. It has also inspired me to do more meaningful things in my life and has given me a different perspective on the world. Being around the kids helps me see life more lightly and reminds me to appreciate the small, joyful moments. Knowing that I can brighten their day gives me a sense of fulfillment and motivates me to keep volunteering and giving back.
